Kesses Member of Parliament Dr Swarup Mishra on Sunday warmed the hearts of many of his constituents after promising to give each and every candidate sitting for this year's national examinations a geometrical set.

The Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) and the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) are set to start on October 20 and November 2 respectively as per the Kenya National Examinations Council (Knec) timetable guidelines.

In a post on his official Facebook page, the first time lawmaker said, "I am indebted to provide a Geometrical set to each and every candidate in our Primary and Secondary schools across Kesses Constituency schools to be used during KCPE and KCSE Examinations."

Mishra, popularly known as Kiprop arap Chelule also took the opportunity to wish all 2018 candidates good luck in their forthcoming examinations.

"Fellow constituents; on my own behalf and on behalf and behalf of the great people of Kesses Constituency, I want to officially send a message of GOODLUCK to our candidates in their forthcoming examinations," he said in the Facebook post.
