Jacinta Njeri lost her three children aged 15, 13 and 6 in a fatal crash at Maili Kumi in Bahati.

The three were killed by a driver who lost control of his Saloon car and hit them on December 1.

Njeri narrated how her elder son Brian Nderitu, accompanied by her sister and brother, met his death as he went to seek permission from his estranged father in order to undergo circumcision.

While walking along the road at Maili Kumi trading centre, the car veered off and landed on them.

Nderitu died on the spot as his siblings succumbed to injuries later at the Nakuru County Hospital.

Nakuru residents have called for a stiff penalty on the occupants of the car with claims that they were under the influence of alcohol as several bottles of the drink were allegedly found in the car.

At Njeri’s home, a somber mood has become a norm as shocked neighbours plan for the burial of the three.
