The results released on Thursday revealed that the boy died from excessive bleeding in his stomach.

The pathologist indicated the boy developed hemorrhage, which was due to malignant ulcers in the stomach.

The boy's body was found in his mother's living room covered with a blanket in their house at South B estate in Nairobi on Wednesday evening.

Confirming this incidence, Nairobi area police boss, Philip Ndolo said that investigations are still ongoing in the uncertain death of the boy.

“The boy’s mother was in the house at the time. We are investigating the incident,” said Ndolo.

Earlier, police reports indicated that the boy had been dead for at least five days. His mother stayed with him in the house for reasons which the police are yet to uncover.

Police are still holding Khahugani at Industrial Area police cells. She will undergo a mental test on Monday, October 28, before the court advises on the way forward in this case.
