The rarely seen Fridah Ongili, Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino's wife, spoke of her unbounded love for her husband and what endeared her to the politician who's no stranger to controversy.
Speaking when she featured on 'Upclose', a show hosted by Betty Kyalo, she was full of praise for her husband who sat next to her.
She spoke in glowing terms about Babu, saying that he has a good heart, and is a very kind person in spite of his public persona seen by many as being relentlessly fierce and militant.
"He is passionate. He is chilled out. Babu has a good heart. Of his qualities that is the most endearing. He has a really good heart in spite of what you see out in the media. He's also a very kind person. He's also crazy... May be I love his craziness. He is also funny. He's so funny to be around" she said.
Fridah revealed that the two have been together for nine years now, and their relationship started when they were students at the University of Nairobi.
She said that their marriage had not been without challenges and up and downs, and that they had had to work on it to keep it going.
"You have to keep working on it everyday, " she said.
