Governor Ali Korane on Wednesday convened a closed-door crisis meeting at the county boardroom.
The meeting that involved all county staff and a few invites, was to streamline service delivery in a county that is facing myriad of challenges ranging from corruption to alleged nepotism.
Moments after the meeting, this writer sought to get more details from several members of the executive but they were not willing to divulge more saying the office of the governor will give detailed statement in due course.
However, one of the invited members who attended the proceedings said key issues discussed revolved around graft issues.
"I can say it was a crisis meeting although the governor said it was a routine address to the county staff.
The timing also speaks a lot given the fact that it happened just hours after the county attorney was sworn in," the source revealed.
Recently, the county executive has been grappling with social media criticisms which led to the arrest of a renowned political activist Feizal Mohammed.
