Garissa Township MP Aden Duale has reiterated the Jubilee government focus to serve Kenyans.
Duale says that President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto will not be distracted in their quest to serve Kenyans.
Speaking when he accompanied DP Ruto on a development tour of Wajir East on Saturday, Duale urged Kenyans to rally behind the Jubilee government.
He said the Jubilee administration is keen to deliver on its pledges before the 2022 general election.
"We are focused on ensuring the Big Four agenda is successful and the development programs of the country are on course," Duale said.
The Leader of Majority in the National Assembly said that time to play politics will come later.
He asked politicians across the divide to give development a priority indicating that they will be answerable to voters after five years.
During the tour of Wajir East, DP Ruto in the company of North Eastern leaders opened volunteer and Jogbaru secondary schools.
The DP rooted for competency-based training, saying it is what Kenya has lacked for long.
He said that technical training colleges are going to address the gap and help the country realise its dream of food security, affordable housing, manufacturing and affordable healthcare.
"Technical education is the answer to youth unemployment, driver of the Big Four, an arena for skills development and nucleus of economic progress," the DP said.
The visit to Wajir comes a week after Ahmed Kolosh won the Wajir West by-election on Jubilee Party ticket.
The DP's visit to North Eastern region also comes days after a section of Garissa politicians denounced Duale.
The leaders led by Garissa Governor Ali Korane accuses Duale of allegedly dividing residents and clans.
Duale has however rubbished the claims, stating that blame games are not healthy for the development of the region.
