Police in Thika, Kiambu County, are investigating an incident where a man was found dead inside a parked matatu in Makongeni Estate on Wednesday.
The middle-aged-man reportedly complained of a severe headache before retreating into the car for a nap, according to a security guard in the area.
According to the guard, the deceased who is a cook at a local church requested to have some rest in one of the matatus packed in a nearby garage moments after reporting to work.
He was, however, later found dead with blood oozing from his mouth and nose, reports Citizen Digital.
Confirming the incident, Thika OCPD Paul Kiriki noted that the deceased might have been died from epilepsy, according to preliminary investigations.
He added that further investigations are underway in a bid to unravel the actual cause of the death.
