The singer together with his colleague Hopekid was early this year alleged to have infected a female student with a Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI).

Speaking on Monday during an interview with Massawe Japanni on Radio Jambo, the ‘Sari sari’ singer claimed that he knew the people who orchestrated the scandal to tarnish his name. He could, however, not give more details because he had signed a non-disclosure agreement.

“I signed a non-disclosure agreement otherwise I would have said a lot here. However, because of signing things like these I am prevented a little bit. I know the truth of the matter and I know who was involved (Ni kwa sababu tu ya ku sign a non-disclosure agreement, mimi ningesema mengi sana hapa. Kwa sababu ya kusign vitu kama hivyo vinanizuia kidogo kwa sababu mimi najua ukweli wa mambo na najua nani amehusika),” said DK Kwenye Beat.

The singer nonetheless went ahead to give a general categorization of the alleged perpetrators.

“The people who were involved are ten per cent. Five per cent are gospel artists. Two per cent are jealous people. And then three per cent are people with dirty hearts (Watu waliohusika ni asilimia kumi. Asilimia tano ni wasanii wa gospel. Asilimia mbili ni watu wa chama, yaani wanaume wenye gere. Alafu asilimia tatu ni watu wenye roho mbaya),” he added.

The singer also made it clear that he was never going to talk about the matter again. DK celebrated his 28th birthday on Monday.
