Speaking on Citizen Television on Tuesday in a panel interview regulated by journalists Waihiga Mwaura and Nzinzi Kibiku, the outspoken woman Rep termed the president's tirade unfortunate.

Waruguru appeared to suggest that there would have been a better way to address the issues that the president wanted addressed.

She went on to say that by using Kikuyu to deliver his strong mesaage, the president made those who attended the Akorino prayer conference but don't understand Kikuyu uncomfortable.

"It was unfortunate because this was a church service and the past time I checked the president has kept insisting on us not doing church politics and now this time round I think things just went wrong. He also chose to come to an Akorino church service and address the mount Kenya region from the church platform.

"I must also say it was a bit uncomfortable for those who are not Kikuyu speakers and we're seated there and had to wait for the media and the rest of the country to interpret to them what was going on, " the Laikipia woman Rep said.

Cate Waruguru contended that by washing its dirty linen in public, the governing Jubilee party was giving others the opportunity to drive a wedge in the party.
