An angry man attacked and injured his neighbour's son accusing him of impregnating his disabled daughter.
The incident happened on Tuesday at Nyamweneno area, Gesangero, Kisii County.
According to Tom Oteyo, his neighbour's son Clinton Nyagaka impregnated his daughter who is disabled.
"I have been warning Nyagaka several times to stop engaging in illicit sex with my daughter in vain. She was confirmed to be 3 months pregnant after she fell ill last week and revealed that Nyagaka was responsible for the pregnancy," said Oteyo.
Angered Oteyo said he met with Nyagaka on the road while returning home from work and descended on him with kicks, blows.
"Nyagaka was lucky to have been rescued by the public, I could have killed him," he noted.
Area assistant chief Edward Manwaye said Nyagaka's right hand was broken during the attack.
"The victim was rushed to Hema hospital for treatment following the injuries he sustained," said the chief.
Manwaye warned local youths against taking advantage of disabled children to have sex with them.
He said the matter will be discussed in lengthy to establish whether it is true Nyagaka impregnated the disabled girl.
