Uasin Gishu County Assembly Speaker David Kiplagat has offered 2018 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education(KCPE) pupil a full secondary school sponsorship.
In a post on his official Facebook page on Monday, Kiplagat said he is pleased to offer a full secondary school sponsorship to Angela Cheptanui.
The beneficiary is the daughter of the late Abraham Lebo from Nyalilbei farm Ziwa ward.
She was selected by the community to benefit from DK foundation
"DK foundation will pay the school fees from Form 1 to Form four," he said.
He added: "Congratulations and may God bless you, Angela."
Individuals following him on Facebook appreciated his work and wished him God's blessings for his initiative to promote education in society.
"Great job sir, may you be blessed more to be a blessing to others especially the young generation."Polo Barno said.
"God bless you mheshimiwa, may God bless your foundation, " Ben Tanui said.
The Speaker had in a meeting earlier in December promised to keep supporting education.
"My resolve to extend a helping hand to the less fortunate in the society through the DK Foundation will continue. Plans are underway to expand it's operations to cover a larger scope within Uasin Gishu County and to bring in more partners for collaboration for this worthy cause," he said.
