The County Government of Uasin Gishu on Monday unveiled its multi-million Water, Lands and Agricultural machinery.
According to Uasin Gishu governor Jackson Mandago, the machines procured at over Sh480 million will be used to drill water and improve Agriculture through mechanization.
They include Tractors, Motorcycles to be used for extension services, water drilling machines among others.
Speaking during the event that as graced by Murang'a governor Mwangi Wa Iria, Mandago said that this government is poised to ensure that every household has access to water.
Wa Iria on his part urged residents to embrace diversification which he noted that was more profitable compared to focusing only on planting maize or wheat.
