Ongwae, speaking when he signed the County performance contracts with members of the County Executive Committee, said he will not tolerate lazy staff members.

"County staff members must dedicate their time to work towards serving our people. Whoever who will be lazy should be ready to go home because there are more qualified people who are ready for the job," he said.

The ODM governor stated that the lazy county executive committee members will not continue earning salaries without doing any tangible job.

He said signing county performance contracts with committee members is geared towards improving performance and delivery of quality and timely services to the people.

"The executive members have now a task to serve the people of Kisii County without discrimination for the purpose of improving productivity and instilling a greater sense of accountability for effective service delivery," he added.

Ongwae said he is committed to end corruption in the county and leave a legacy in 2022 when he will be leaving office in 2022.
