Speaking on AM Live Tuesday morning, the former National Assembly Deputy Minority Whip claimed that none of the two will live long enough to participate in the forthcoming 2022 general elections.

He claimed that rather, the election will be decided by the alliance's chiefs, President Uhuru Kenyatta and opposition leader Raila Odinga respectively, predicting that the two might collaborate to decide the nation's political fate.

"There will be no NASA or Jubilee in the next election. The election will be about Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga," he stated.

This comes at a time when the two have since shelved their rivalry that best manifested itself in the August 8 polls where they face off, reaching a truce and agreeing to work together on March 9.

He, therefore, urged Kenyans and politicians to shun their obsession with the 2022 debate and rigidness to embrace the developing political changes and back the head of state in his post-truce unity and anti-graft initiatives.

"It is good that Uhuru has finally decided to work and nobody should question him. He needs our support which we should give him," he added.

The Uhuru-Odinga romance has since seen reports emerge that the two are working on a joint plan to create a unity government, that will see the cabinet reshuffled to accommodate opposition representatives.
