Kenya's most controversial Gospel artist Willy Paul Msafi has survived the DusitD2 hotel attack in Westlands.
The attack is believed to have been led by a dangerous al-Shabaab group at Riverside Drive in Westlands.
Willy Paul has written in his official Instagram platform about what he termed God mercies to have given him another chance.
"Today, I have seen how God loves me. He has given me another chance to live," he wrote on Instagram.
The talented star said that he had not come across such an incident in life adding that what he saw was terrific.
"I have never come across such a thing in my life. Many people have been injured and others lost their lives," his post reads.
He urged the police to look deeper into the incident saying that the kind of weapons which were being used must be supplied by harmful people.
"The police should dig deep into the issue because the weapons which were used a few minutes back are not usual. Someone must supply these people with such weapons," the post continues.
The "sitolia" singer was attending a meeting in the ill-stricken Hotel when. The incident happened.
He said the first thing he heard was a powerful blast then followed by gunshots.
"I can't believe I am typing here. I just survived this horrific incident. Thank you, lord, I will never get tired of thanking you and serving under you," the post ends.
However, he didn't make it clear how he got out of the buildings.
