Kangundo Member of Parliament Fabian Muli has disclosed that he will embark on completing all the stalled projects in his constituency.
Muli said he has had talks with the national government to ensure that all uncompleted projects are finalized this financial year for the constituents to benefit.
"This year, I'm embarking on ensuring that every stalled project is completed. Those projects from 2007 that were left unfinished," Muli said.
The legislator spoke when he issued bursary cheques to bright but needy students in Kangundo town on Friday.
He issued cheques worth Sh10 million to students in secondary schools.
Muli stated that taxpayers money goes into waste if stalled projects are left uncompleted since they don't benefit the locals.
"Launching new projects while we have others halfway done is wastage of public funds, our main concern should be ensuring residents benefit," he said.
The MP said he had engaged the Machakos County government to complete and equip stalled dispensaries in the constituency.
"There are dispensaries which are complete but are not equipped, I had a talk with Deputy Governor Francis Maliti and did an assessment of the projects. We agreed that in a months time, the dispensaries will be equipped with doctors and medicines," Muli said.
