Former Citizen TV news anchor Kanze Dena is now the acting State House spokesperson.

Dena, who was appointed the deputy head of the Presidential Strategic Communications Unit (PSCU) six weeks ago, will replace Manoah Esipisu, who has been appointed an ambassador by President Uhuru Kenyatta.

In a Friday evening briefing, Dena said, “Now that my boss Manoah Esipisu has been redeployed, I wish to announce I am the acting State House spokesperson.”

Esipisu has been State House’s spokesman since 2013.

Ambassadors & High Commissioners: Sarah Serem, Lt. Gen Samuel Thuita, Francis Muhoro, Manoah Esipisu, George Ochillo Ayacko, Amb Peter Nicholas Oginga Ogego, Johnson Mogo Ondieki, Chris Karumba Mburu, Benjamin Langat.

President Kenyatta has also reshuffled his Cabinet.

Adan Mohamed is now Cabinet Secretary for East African Affairs and Regional Development Authorities while CS Peter Munya is now Cabinet Secretary for Industry, Trade, and Cooperatives.

Prof. Collette A Suda moves to Ministry of Education as Chief Administrative Secretary and Principal Secretary in charge of The State Department for University Education.

Simon Kachapin moves to Ministry of Energy as Chief Administrative Secretary.
