Kisumu based Radio Lake Victoria Presenter Betty Opondo has thanked fans for their support since the death of her child last week.
Her son named Telvin who died on Tuesday, February 19, reportedly collapsed and died while watching Television at their Nairobi home.
Since then, Ms Opondo has been receiving encouragement messages from far and wide, something she is not taking for granted.
“This far, the grace of God and your kind words of condolence, visits, text messages, phone calls and any form of support already extended have kept me going. May God bless you abundantly as you walk with me through this painful journey. THANK YOU,” Betty Opondo poured out her gratitude on Thursday.
She indicated that a fundraiser has been planned on Tuesday, March 5th at Norwich Union Towers, 7th floor, room 3, opposite Hilton Hotel, Nairobi starting 5 P.M to cater for funeral expenses.

The main fundraiser will be preceded by a mini-fundraiser at her residence in Saika Estate, off Kangundo Road, on Saturday, March 02, 2019.
Reports indicate that Telvin who was battling a heart condition will be laid to rest on Saturday, March 09, in Siaya County.
