A girl has gone into hiding after she was busted in the act with a man by her mother on Sunday evening at Nyankoba village in Keumbu, Nyaribari Chache in Kisii County.
Florence Moraa said her daughter, Linet, dropped out of school in form 2 and has since been sleeping with both married and unmarried men in the village.
“She dropped out of school leaving Sh40,000 school fees where she was studying. I have tried to persuade her go back but in vain,” she said.
She added that on Friday evening she busted her in the act with a man, Innocent Karori, a boda boda rider.
“She went missing from home on Thursday and I went to check on her after a friend told me that she was spotted at the man’s house. I forced myself into the single-roomed house only to find them naked having sex,” said Moraa.
She creamed to attract members of the public but the daughter fled from the house naked abandoning all her clothes.
Job Oyugi, area assistant chief said the girl has gone into hiding since then. He called on members of the public to help the woman find her daughter.
He warned boda boda riders against engaging in illicit sex with school girls.
