Many applicants are prone to making mistakes when doing something or writing a job application letter.
Mistakes are common and can really cost you.
A number of Kenyan's eyes are on the 2019 census jobs with every applicant hoping to secure a role. However, not all will secure a job due to various reasons.
First of all, to be on a safe side and before writing the application, make sure that you have read the instructions as indicated by the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics in their recent advertisement about the census jobs.
There are some important things that should not be left out in your letter
Here are the mistakes to avoid
1. Don't forget to indicate the reference number of the position you are interested in
How will the employer know your position of interest if you don't indicate the reference number?
If you don't do so, you will undoubtedly be eliminated from the job. The Ref. Number is clearly indicated on the post and each post has its own number.
2. Don't forget to attach the relevant documents
In this case, it is a requirement that you attach your academic certificates, Curriculum Vitae, National Identity card and other important documents. Do not leave them out in your application.
3. Don't forget to state the location and sub-location, division, county and sub-county and estate or village of residence
You are not the only one seeking the job and therefore don't make assumptions. To avoid being ruled out, indicate the mentioned things.
