ODM party leader is no longer an opposition minded person, a Nyamira based politician has claimed.
Victor Swanya said Raila lost focus in his political career when he agreed to shake hands with his political rival, President Uhuru Kenyatta.
"Raila is no longer interested to play his role as an opposition leader. The handshake between him and Uhuru killed his political career," he said.
The Wiper Party Vice chairman faulted youthful MPs in ODM for sticking to Raila who has hit his retirement age.
"Youthful politicians such as John Mbadi may also get lost because they believe Raila is always correct.
"It is time the youthful leaders to consider being independent and believe in themselves to continue remaining relevant in the country's politics," said Swanya.
Swanya added that the move by Uhuru to introduce new fuel tax was an aim to have his government repay the loans he has been borrowing carelessly.
"Uhuru's close allies stole the money he borrowed. He turned the burden to poor Kenyans to pay more on fuel to help him repay the loans," he noted.
