Controversial lawyer Miguna Miguna now says that the nation needs to turn a new leaf and the world begins a new year, 2019.
In a tweet on Tuesday, December 25, the opposition activist urged Kenyans to concentrate on a national revolution in 2019.
He noted that the outgoing year has been a terrible one for most Kenyans on matters politics and leadership as a result of the controversial 2017 presidential elections.
Miguna recalled that its in this year that opposition supporters were killed and maimed while rejecting President Uhuru Kenyatta's August 8 and October 26 reelections.
The same, he added, would be worsened when opposition leader Raila Odinga ignored all the sacrifice his supporters made after he rejected the relection and reconciled with Uhuru on March 9.
"2017 was the year of electoral frauds and mass murders by @UKenyatta. 2018 was the year when @RailaOdinga BETRAYED our revolutionary movement, became a cabal bag carrier and exposed himself as a DYNASTIC CARTEL. Patriots, let's make 2019 the year of the REVOLUTION. Viva!" he tweeted.
Miguna has been calling for a revolution against Uhuru's government since his deportation to Canada earlier in the year.
He has repeatedly bashed the President and his deputy over poor leadership and failure to eliminate the graft menace.
He has been of the opinion that the nation needs a fresh leadership that will be able to adress Kenyans' shortcomings that the Jubilee administration has been unable to handle.
