Barely a week after Comedian Eric Omondi buried his late brother Joseph Omondi, the celebrity is mourning the demise of a close relative.
On Wednesday, Irene Omondi, his sister, took to social media to announce the death of his their cousin Kenedy Otieno Ndenga.
“I can't believe you are No More Nyathiwa Joseph Onyango Omondi,’’ posted Irene. She also revealed that the death of the two has made this month one of the darkest in their family, adding that they will surely miss him.
"This month is one of the darkest month of my 2018. Having 2 funerals at the same time. R.I.P Our Headboy Joseph Onyango Omondi and my Cousin Kenedy Otieno Ndenga,’’ she added.
The cause of the cousin’s death is yet to be established.
The elder brother, who was laid to rest on June 22nd in Ugenya, was reportedly addicted to drugs.The comedian revealed that the brother was introduced to the drugs by a cousin who was dating a white man. He also divulged that the brother used to hang out with the cousin and they could use drugs.
He has since asked youths not to be influenced into drugs and substance abuse following the death of his brother.
