A month after landing from US following his indisposition, Governor Nyagarama's troubles are far from over.
For three months now, workers have been on a go slow with many public hospitals closing down due to industrial strike by nurses.
"It hasn't been an easy month but hopefully from Monday, all health facilities will be fully operational," Nyagarama told mourners on Sunday.
But his MOU with Deputy Governor Amos Nyaribo has yet again reignited tension between the two with the latter crying foul of being short-changed.
In a press release, Nyaribo accused Nyagarama of going mum over their MOU, citing reinstatement of County Secretary Erick Onchana as the core issue.
"This is to inform you that we agreed to share positions equally but unfortunately, I am not being consulted in key decision making.
"I will seek interpretation of the MOU from the registrar of Political Parties over the agreement," he stated.
Among the positions to be shared equally, Nyaribo added, included County Executive Committee and Cheif Officers.
Further, Nyaribo wants Mr. Onchana's suspension to be imposed despite the governor lifting it.
This proves yet again tough task for Nyagarama even as the deputy flies to India for treatment.
