Governor of Kwale Salim Mvurya on Saturday flagged off Kwale County teams to head to Nandi County to participate in the 5th Edition Kenya Youth Inter-County games scheduled to commence on Monday, December 17, 2018.
Kwale County will be represented in four disciplines namely football men, football ladies, volleyball men and volleyball ladies.In his speech, Governor Mvurya asked the teams to bag all the four trophies.
"I have given you the authority, go put your maximum effort and energy during the games, maintain discipline and God will walk your way," he told the teams.
"My administration has and will continue giving you maximum support as you will be carrying the County flag. Remember you are going there as defending champions so go and defend your championship."
CeC for Social Services and Talent Management Ramadhani Masudi Bungale will lead the teams during the tournament.
He promised the governor that the men and women will do everything under his watch to set the name of the County high in the country.
