A section of bodaboda operators in Bogetenga and Tabaka wards in South Mugirango constituency have resolved to push for area MP Sylvanus Osoro's re-election in 2022.
The riders led by Mose Matoke speaking on Sunday at Omogwa village said the MP is a performer.
"As bodaboda riders, we have agreed to support MP Osoro in 2022 for his second term because he has shown developmental plans for constituents. He respects the people who employed him in 2017 and this will make him win in 2022," said Matoke.
Another operator Paul Nyamwange challenged Osoro's rivals to wait until 2027 noting that the legislator will win re-election "because he is doing a good job issuing bursaries fairly to learners and ensuring infrastructure in schools, hospitals are improved."
Tabaka Member of County Assembly (MCA) Daniel Apepo who was present lauded the riders saying development oriented leaders should be given an opportunity to serve.
"Osoro was elected on KNC party ticket and me on a Jubilee party ticket but, that doesn't bar me from working with him. I will respect the decision of riders because they are also my employers," said Apepo.
