It was a bitter drama in Brazil after fans and supporters welcomed back the Samba Boys by throwing Stones at the team's bus.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup was expected to be redemption for Brazil star player Neymar and the team at large; instead, they crashed out of the quarter-finals against Belgium.
The agitated supporters waited for the team's bus to leave the airport before they 'greeted' it by throwing stones in disgust. Police efforts to stop them yielded no fruits.
However, in the video doing rounds on different social media platforms, there were no casualties reported. The bus remained locked and no one came out.
Belgium gave a surprising display to knock out Brazil from proceeding to the semis with Fernandinho's own goal being followed up by a magical finish from Manchester City playmaker Kevin de Bruyne, to win the match 2-1, with Brazil's consolation goal coming from a substitute Renato Augusto.
Brazil failed to proceed to the next stage even after having recorded many shots on target as compared to Belgium who fully relied on counter attacks.
Brazil had 27 shots on goal against 9 recorded by Belgium, 9 out 27 shots were on target but only managed to put one at the back of the net.
