A section of Kisii MCAs have threatened to send South Mugirango MP Sylvanus Osoro home should he fail to apologise to Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i.
This follows an alleged distasteful remark he made against the CS recently on Facebook.
The angry MCAs led by Bomorenda ward MCA John Ombati protested MP Osoro's outburst saying he is being used by some forces to insult the CS.
"Matiang'i deserves respect. Let MP Osoro move with speed and apologise to Matiang'i failure to which we send him home from politics," said the ODM MCA in Kisii town on Thursday.
"Osoro is being used by some greedy individuals allied to 'tanga tanga' group to disrespect and call Matiang'i names. Matiang'i should not be likened to MP Osoro who was elected to parliament due to sympathy from the people of South Mugirango," said the ward rep.
He challenged political leaders from Abagusii community to stop fighting Matiang'i who beat all odds to be where he is.
According to the vocal MCA, Osoro could be insulting Matiang'i out of jealousy, adding that his (Matiang'i's) stellar performance in government is highly envied.
