Blogger Robert Alai’s 2013 brush with Nairobi Kanjo has resurfaced days after he was involved in an online fight with singer Akothee.
In the video that has gone viral on social media, Alai is seen in a heated exchange with Nairobi County askaris.
In the undated video, an angry Alai is seen in a confrontation with the Kanjo man who apparently tried to harass him.
It is not clear why the video of the 2013 incident has reemerged.
Some malicious bloggers are misleading the public that the incident occurred after he was involved in a heated online exchange with Akothee.
“Alai’s only car towed by Kanjo after fighting Akothee,” one blogger posted in Group Kenya.
However, we have fact-checked the video and confirmed the incident happened in 2013.
Alai has been trending recently after he hammered Akothee before receiving a lethal attack from her.
