Accompanied by hundreds of bodaboda riders, Arati arrived in style as the bodaboda men tried to make his presence heard in presence of several Gusii leaders who had come to console with ODM Vice Chair Janet Ong'era.

For a moment, Ong'era, who also doubles as Kisii Women Representative, grabbed the microphone and seemingly lectured  Mr Arati as other leaders remained calm.

"You can't come here to disrupt my brother's funeral. Just try to have courtesy. It's uncouth that you plan all the way just to come and disrupt programme to the diseased.

"Try to have courtesy. He's our last born and he deserves respect. It is unfortunate that your intentions are to disrupt peace. We can't allow this to happen," a furious Ong'era is heard in the video.

Mr Samuel Aondo died a fortnight ago and several leaders among them Senator Sam Ongeri (Kisii), Senator Okong'o Mogeni (Nyamira), Governor John Nyagarama (Nyamira) and James Ongwae of Kisii had attended his funeral.

After Ms Ong'era plea, Arati, who is Keen to succeed Ongwae, stepped out of his chair and tried to calm down restless riders who were impatient and wanted him to speak immediately.
