An Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party Member of Parliament has vowed never to visit Kilifi county for political functions.
This is after the party Secretary General Edwin Sifuna's speech was on Friday interrupted by Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa.
Jumwa accused Sifuna of politicizing a funeral service.
Mathare MP Antony Oluoch who also attended the function now says that he would rather follow Kilifi political events on television.
Oluoch faulted Jumwa for her action, noting that whatever came upon her should be dealt with as it might get out of hand with time.
“What I witnessed yesterday, I will watch Kilifi politics from Nairobi. However, whatever you people gave Ms Jumwa that made her behave the way she did at the funeral continue giving it to her," the MP was quoted by Nation.
Other ODM MPs who attended the function included Ganze's Teddy Mwambire, Paul Katana (Kaloleni), Caleb Amisi of Saboti and William Kamoti (Rabai).
The incident came only months after the ODM party expelled Jumwa over her links and open declarations for support of Deputy President William Ruto's 2022 presidential bid.
She has, however, appealed the decision at the political parties tribunal.
