When he met Ghana's president Nana Akufo-Addo, he made sure he made a fashion statement.

The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader rocked a lovely Ghanaian Agbada and a burgundy cap to look the part of a consummate West African man.

It was an attire that rendered him resplendent.

The Agbada is a typical West African attire rocked by men and women and supplemented by a cap.

Some men go the extra mile bringing along a walking staff.

It is an ensemble that speaks to power and wealth, and comes in a multiplicity of designs.

Not every man can afford it as men with cash to burn are the ones who wear it.

In a Facebook post, the ODM leader said that, front and centre in the discussions, was the integration of the African continent through infrastructure.

"As Africans, we need to expedite the integration of our continent through infrastructure, in order to promote economic growth and sustainable development. This was at the heart of our discussion as I wound up my tour with a visit to President Nana Akufo-Addo in Accra, " he posted.

Raila's glamorous ensemble was a break from the suits that he mainly wears in such official meetings.
