Munyua said that it is wrong to attack the president without evidence that the land they have is grabbed and accusing him of sabotaging the war on graft when he is the one leading the war.

On Thursday, the Kimilii legislator was caught on camera saying that the war on graft has been turned into fights against the Deputy President William Ruto instead of arresting and prosecuting the real culprits who are walking freely out there.

Barasa also added that the majority of Kenyans are squatters with nowhere to go while Uhuru's family owns huge chunks of land.

“I stand for the fight against corruption and I support the fight fully but we have to target the right people, not people who fail to account and declare their wealth. Let’s be honest about this fight if we want to win it,” he said.

Following the remarks, Munyua has called upon leaders to respect the presidency and utter words which can be proved in a court of law rather than mere talk. He said the President doesn’t target any individuals in the fight on corruption and that everyone should account for their wealth.

He added that no Judiciary officer is being targeted by the Jubilee government despite the infamous 'we shall revisit' statement by President Uhuru Kenyatta to the Judiciary.

He has vowed to support the President in the endeavor.

"I will support this war on all grounds and I call upon the authorities involved not to slow down. Let the leaders respect the Presidency because President Kenyatta has shown us that he is determined to end corruption no matter what,” Munyua stated.
