There was drama on Wednesday afternoon at the Voluntary Counselling and Testing (VCT) section at the Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital (Russia) after a policeman clashed with a doctor.
The police officer got furious after being diagnosed with HIV virus and threatened to shoot the doctor in the process.
The middle-aged man claimed that one of the doctors at the hospital was responsible for his HIV status.
According to him, he had visited the hospital to get tested, and did not expect negative results.
The angry police officer caused drama at the facility attracting the attention of patients and staff, before doctors calmed him down.
“How come I have HIV? One of you infected me…but why now? I have a gun…I will shoot all of you. I will find her,” he shouted.
He later calmed down and allowed psychologists and counselors at the facility to assist him.
