The draw will be conducted in Egypt on Friday, April 12, 2019, ahead of the tournament to be held in the North Africa Nation between June and July 2019.

Coach Migne is anxiously waiting for the draw as Stars return to the Africa’s biggest soccer stage for the first time since 2004. “We want to prove that we deserve to be there,” the Coach is quoted by the cafonline.com.

This year’s edition will feature 24 teams up from the usual 16, with Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Burundi representing the East African region.

Cameroon was initially given the nod to host this year’s tournament, but the West Africa Country was stripped off the hosting rights due to slow paced preparations.
