The revelation comes hours after Obama jetted into the nation.

Mr Mohamed Hassan Mumin, a peace elder from Wajir County, says that he desires to meet the US politician.

He had the privilege of dressing Obama in a traditional regalia in 2006 and now he wants to meet him again years after he left office following his two-term in Presidency

He also revealed that his efforts to meet Obama when he came into the nation proved futile.

“I blessed Mr Obama when he was a senator and he ended up ruling America for two terms. I now want to bless him to be the leader of peace in global hotspots such as Syria, Palestine, Afghanistan, South Sudan and Somalia,” he said.

Obama held a meeting with President Uhuru Kenyatta. The details of the meeting, however, remain scanty.

The retired President is expected to visit Luo Nyanza, the birthplace of his late father Obama senior before he leaves the country.

The visit of Obama has calmed the succession politics in the nation.

A few weeks ago, a section of leaders from Jubilee lamented that President Uhuru Kenyatta’s call for lifestyle audit was targeting Deputy President William Ruto.
