Justice Jessie Lessit will on Friday yet again make three judgements that would define the fate of embattled Migori Governor Okoth Obado.
For almost four weeks, Mr. Obado has been struggling in jail over the death of Sharon Otieno, his girlfriend last month.
And when he takes to the dock, Mr. Obado will be hopeful that the judgements would favour his defense team.
In her judgment, Lessit will determine whether female Lawyers association, FIDA should be enjoined in the murder case that took the country by storm.
Also, the judge will make a ruling on application by Sharon Otieno's mother, Melida Auma, who wants the governor to continue staying behind bars over 'his ability to tamper with investigations' using his status as governor.
After a long wait, the formidable defense team led by retired Judge Nicholas Ombija and Cliff Ombeta, would know the fate of their application to have the governor released on bail pending trial.
Prosecution team consolidated Obado's murder case with those of his aides Michael Oyamo and Caspal Obiero.
The trial have been charged of murdering Sharon Otieno and the unborn baby Sharon.
Back at home, assuming he's granted bail, Obado will have his political nemesis Ochillo Ayacko as senator following Monday's hotly contested by-election.
