For sometime now, Jubilee Party has been grappling with divisions that are seemingly dividing it into two camps; 'Tangatanga' and 'Kieleweke'.
Deputy President William Samoei Ruto, who is associated to team 'Tangatanga', on Friday said that President Uhuru Kenyatta supports his trips across the country.
While addressing residents of Nyamira, DP Ruto revealed that President Uhuru supports his tours, contrary to the president's past remarks.
The question that now begs for an answer is, has the Uhuru also permitted early 2022 presidential campaigns that come into play during the tours?
The revelation is now expected to create more jitters and diverse responses from the rival team 'Kitaeleweka' and even the opposition led by Raila Odinga.
In his visits, DP Ruto has also been at the receiving end with critics questioning the source of the millions he usually dishes out to churches.
The matter reached its climax on Wednesday during the national breakfast prayers when Ruto made public his reason behind the donations.
He said the monies were meant to show gratitude to God for having elevated him from his humble background to his current position as the country's second in command.
