Police in Nakuru County have launched a manhunt for a worker who is suspected of killing his employer, 55-year-old Jared Singoli, and buried him under the bed.
His wife Jennifer Kwamboka said her instincts, that something was amiss, made her travel.
“I was very worried since he always answers his phone. I called his relatives and asked them to help locate her and check whether he was ok. I thought he could have fallen ill while home alone,” Kwamboka said
Naighbours forced their way into the house after they found the door locked.
They discovered chairs pushed towards the bed and later found the shallow grave.
Deputy County Commissioner, Nakuru East, Herman Shambi, said police have commenced a manhunt for the main suspect in the murder.
“The young man claimed that the deceased had gone to his rural home for a burial ceremony,” said Geoffrey Kangethe, a neighbour to the deceased
