A man who was pictured walking on homemade crutches touching the hearts of many Kenyans has finally been helped.
The plight of the man was shared on various social media platforms on Tuesday by concerned Kenyans and highlighted by Hivisasa.
On Wednesday, David Ole Sankok, a nominated Member of Parliament to representing People Living With Disabilities (PLWD) came to his rescue as he provided new crutches for the man.
Through his Facebook page, Ole Sankok said the crutches for the young man is ready. However, It is not clear if the crutches have been delivered to the man.
The man who is believed to be from Kimuri village, in Uasin Gishu county attracted the attention of many well wishers who called for the identity and exact location so that they can offer help.
When his case was highlighted, many social media users applauded his efforts of creativity to make crutches to aid in his walk and called upon the leaders and well wishers to help him.
