The group led by Kapseret lawmaker Oscar Sudi and Senate Majority Leader Kipchumba Murkomen has been accusing the President of plotting to victimize his deputy William Ruto.

But speaking on Saturday, Aladwa hit out at a section of the group that engaged Uhuru in a war of words, cautioning them that they face terrible consequences.

He noted that the likes of Sudi and Murkomen risk facing the wrath of Kenyans, the electorate in this context, for attacking and at some point challenging Uhuru.

"These Rift Valley politicians who have been attacking and even insulting the President must be ready for the consequences. The people will not take it lightly," he said.

He advised against that going forward, urging the group to accord the Head of State the respect and honour he requires, is the national symbol of unity.

"You don't go around insulting a sitting President. That was not right," he said.

The group has also been accusing Uhuru of collaborating with his new political friend and opposition leader Raila Odinga in the plan to isolate Ruto ahead of the 2022 presidential race.
