The MP attended Raila's mock swearing-in at Uhuru park early last year, raising questions on his loyalty to his ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi.

He has also been seen attacking the former deputy prime minister for snubbing the function, attracting criticism over alleged disrespect to Mudavadi.

Osotsi now says that despite the attacks and threats of disciplinary actions from the party, he will stand his ground, maintaining that he is doing nothing wrong.

"ANC na ODM ziko katika NASA, ni Mudavadi ndiye aliyetuleta katika NASA na bado hatujatoka. Mimi nitabaki na msimamo wangu kwamba tutafanya kazi pamoja (Mudavadi brought us to NASA and we are a still part of the alliance. I will stick to my stand that ANC and ODM remain allies and we will work together)," he said.

The MP made the remarks during an interview on Milele FM's Kivumbi show on Wednesday morning.

Osotsi wondered why he is being demonized for working with ODM yet Mudavadi is doing the same, even after cutting links with Raila after the 2017 polls.

Citing the launch of the Huduma Namba registration which saw opposition leaders join President Uhuru Kenyatta for the kickoff of the exercise, Osotsi said that the team is back together.

"Yeye (Mudavadi) mwenyewe alikataa handshake lakini juzi tumemwona ameungana na Raila na wengine kwa mambo ya Huduma Namba. Tuko wote kwa Raila. (Mudavadi opposed the handshake but was recently involved in the Huduma Namba lauch. We are all working with Raila)," he added.
