Jobs are meant to be enjoyed. But there are situations at work that could make the job boring for you.

But how do you know when it's time to quit?

1. It's taking a toll on your life

If the job you wake up every morning or sacrifice your night to have bad effects on your health,  you have no choice but to say "let it be".

Health is important more than anything. You don't have to die working to become a hero.

2. You are overqualified

What is the point having a PhD in whatever field you majored plus several years of experience yet you still hold a position a mere degree holder can hold? It's not logical.

Stay on the look for a position that best matches your skills; a more fulfilling job.

3. You are in continuous bad terms with your boss

Your relationship with your boss has been in a mess for months or years now and you have doubts with your future in the company. It is a good idea you quit the job before you get a surprise sack.

4. Relationship with your colleagues is getting toxic

How you relate to your colleagues determines the level of happiness or sadness at your workplace.

Should it happen that you have a toxic relationship with your colleagues, the best choice for you is to quit the job.

5. Your tasks have grown but not your paycheck

The same salary you received when you were new in the company is the same you still receive now while your tasks have grown bigger.

What you do should be reflected in your paycheck. If this is your condition, it would be a good idea that you quit.

NOTE: Only quit your job if you are sure of finding another at a better company. Do not jump out of a frying pan into the fire.
