Slightly a month after Emurua Dikir MP Johanna Ng'eno married his lover of life, one of his other colleague is set to follow the same.
Murang'a Senator Irungu Kang'ata is set to tie the knot with Mary Wambui, his long time fiance on September 15th.
But contrary to Mr. Ng'eno, the former Kiharu MP has however been living with his wife to be and have three children, reports the Nation.
“I’m not a bachelor as widely perceived. I’ve been married to Ms Wambui for eight years and blessed with three children. We will just be solemnising our marriage,” he said.
“All plans for the wedding are complete and we shall exchange our vows at Gathinja Catholic Church while the reception will be held at Thika Greens,” added Kang'ata, a staunch campaigner of DP William Ruto.
President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto are expected to grace the occasion.
Nominated Senator Isaac Mwaura will be his best man while Kiharu legislator Ndidi Nyoro will be groomsman.
The legislator is widely known for his fierce defense of MCAs whom he claims are underpaid.
