Three people died on Wednesday morning after being involved in a road accident along Mbagathi Way.

The accident occurred after their vehicle, a Mazda Demio veered off the road and hit an electricity post.

Reports indicate that the vehicle was occupied by three women. 

Two died on the spot while the third one is receiving treatment in a nearby hospital.

The vehicle lost control and hit a man who was jogging, killing him instantly.

Over the festive season, authorities have been advising Kenyans to observe caution on the roads. During this season, cases of road accidents are usually on the rise.
