A section of Kisii residents picked a quarrel with governor James Ongwae after he shared a video on his Facebook account over the newly developed facilities at Kisii Teaching and Referral hospital President Uhuru Kenyatta will commission on Wednesday, February 20, 2019.
The angry residents accused the county boss for dwelling so much on KTRH while other public health centers across the county are in pathetic conditions.
Jobson Birundu wrote; "Ashamed to be from this county.Those are empty halls."
"You can't pride yourself for just one structure that was even funded through the Japanese government.. Shame on you.. 7 years you have been in power you have nothing to show for it.. Leaders like you have outlived their usefulness to our good county," wrote Mairura Humphrey.
"God is watching, people don't want structures.... No drugs," said Elkanah Nyamokeri.
Clinton Mogaka wrote; "You have done nothing only that hospital tuonyeshe miradi zingine."
Another user Vincent O Nyakambi said in a comment; "I saw pple struggling to get water yesterday and today evening @Kisii town centre....Really shameful for almost two terms."
Anara Roggers said; "For two cool terms, is all you are going to show us just KTRH? Are we going to keep singing about upgrading of Kisii hospital which has been there since? yet you tax your fellow county residents to stinking high heavens. Nothing much to show for the kind of tax collected. Nothing at all!"
