In April, Raila accompanied Uhuru to China, in what he (Raila) said was a trip to go collect the money, but would later return without the Sh368 billion loan for the expansion of the railroad from Naivasha to Kisumu.

But Ngunjiri now says that the Chinese were worried about their money, after Raila's supporters were seen destroying railways previously.

The Jubilee Party MP claimed that the two were sent back to agree that nothing would happen to the railway if funded, before going back for the money at a later date.

"You (Uhuru) can see when you went with him (Raila) to China for the railway road, the Chinese came clear that these people are specialists of destroying railways, are you sure they won't destroy the railway? They were told to go and talk on the handshake so that the railway won't be destroyed," Ngunjiri said while addressing the press at his home in Nakuru on Tuesday.

He urged Uhuru to cut links with Raila, reminding him that the former Prime Minister was not elected anywhere, instead advising him to reunite with his deputy William Ruto.

According to Ngunjiri, unless Uhuru's plan is to tame Raila to calm the nation and smoothen the way for Ruto's 2022 presidency, he should stop working with him.

"Unless Uhuru has a plan ya kushika huyu mtu awache fujofujo tufanye biashara kwa sababu kazi yake in kuharibu biashara (to tame thisnguy and prevent him from making trouble and let us do our business since his main job is to disrupt businesses)," he added.
