Most people have always believed that eating a well-balanced diet and having exercises will make them live a long and have a healthy life, which is absolutely true. 

However, a new study carried out at the University of California led by neurologist Claudia Kawas, revealed that alcohol is better than exercising if you want to live longer and never expect premature death. 

According to the study, moderate consumption of alcohol daily is your best bet than exercising. The study, which has been tracking 1700 old people in their 90s, monitoring their daily activities, found out that those who took a glass or two of wine or beer daily had 18 percent fewer chances of dying prematurely. 

On the contrary, the research found out that those who exercised for like 15 to 45 minutes daily reduced their chances of premature deaths by only 11 percent. 

The same study found out that people who love coffee have also a chance of living a bit longer. A cup or two cups of coffee a day reduces a person’s chance of dying a premature death by 10 percent.

In conclusion, the research revealed that drinking moderate amounts of alcohol in a day helps people live longer than exercising and drinking coffee.
