Plans are at an advanced stage for the county government of Uasin Gishu to construct ward offices.
This is in a bid to enhance access to key county services by locals across all the 30 wards in the county.
According to the acting Chief Officer for Administration and Coordination department Wilson Sawe, funds have already been set aside to facilitate construction of the offices.
Speaking at Koitoror centre in Tembelio ward on Thursday, Sawe said the construction will be in two phases where phase one will see the first batch of 13 offices built.
The second phase will see the construction of the remaining 11 ward offices.
Sawe also asked members of the public to inform the county of any other existing public utilities so that they can be put to good use for their benefit.
"Once you notify the County Government of available public utilities, it will be easy when it comes to prioritizing where to establish projects," said Sawe who is also the Turbo Sub County Administrator.
Many Uasin Gishu County Ward Administrators have been operating from the main Sub County offices making it hard and costly for some locals to access their services.
The Tembelion ward office will be built at Koitotor farm.
