Migori Governor Okoth Obado has reshuffled his cabinet in what has been termed as improving service delivery.

The new look cabinet now has a total of four women heading the Finance, Water, Health, and Trade dockets as the County Executive Committee (CEC) and two women serving as Chief Officers in the Public Service Management and Education dockets.

The Governor sent home Trade minister Elizabeth Ochaye and Education Chief Officer Marwa Muniko. In the changes, Mr  Valentine Ogongo is the CEC in the Agriculture docket, while Mr. Elijah Gambere will serve as the Chief Officer.

The Finance docket has been handed to Scholarstica Obiero as the CEC, with Samuel Omuga as the Chief Officer. The Water docket is now headed by Rebecca Maroa as the CEC and Mr Edward Kabaka as Chief Officer. 

The health docket is under Dr Iscar Oluoch while Dr Dalmas Oyugi is the Chief Officer. Mr Moses Chamwada and Mr Samuel Ochieng will now serve as CEC and Chief Officer in the Roads docket respectively.

The Public Service Management is under Elijah Odhiambo as Acting CEC, and Roselyn Atieno Otieno (Chief Officer), the Education sector is under Samson Maginga as CEC and Mary Midida as Chief Officer.

The Trade Ministry is now led by heila Gati Mwita as CEC and Samuel Ochieng as Acting Chief Officer.

Elijah Odhiambo heads the Lands docket as CEC with Edward Kabaka as Acting Chief Officer.

Mr. Christopher Rusana remains the Migori County Secretary. 

According to a post on the Migori County Government official Facebook page, the changes take effect immediately.
